I was introduced to Devon Meekis through a young man I met in Sandy Lake. This young man shared that Devon is an activist and would be a great person to connect with in regards to our campaign to bring northern and southern youth together through art. Devon right away jumped on board and changed the entire face of our SYiMzine. He transformed something we had created in word document into a beautiful, inspirational story - he made the SYiMzine. Devon is a great person to work with, he also designed our SYiM Showcase invitation and poster. Through his own participation in SYiM, he has inspired other young people to continue their passion in the arts. Everyone at North-South Partnership for Children looks forward to our partnership with Devon and Meekis Designs. We couldn't have done this without his hard work and dedication.
